Who I Am

Before I became a Personal Trainer, I was a full time gymnastics coach. Being a gymnastics coach sparked my interest to help people who want to live a healthier lifestyle.
I am on the register of exercise professionals and have qualified as a level 3 Personal Trainer. I am based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk but I can travel to the surrounding areas, training outdoors, in your home or in your garden!
My aim as a PT is to get you to enjoy keeping fit and staying healthy. Many people find taking the first step to losing weight or getting fitter, the hardest. I aim to help you take that first step with confidence and without setting foot in a gym. Whether you are new to fitness or need to get in shape for something in particular, then I can help you achieve your goals. I advocate positive, fun and energetic sessions which will most definitely help boost your confidence and help you find your fitness potentials.

I offer one to one sessions, sessions with a friend or group training sessions. I also offer nutrional advice, which is an important part of the training programme as this helps you reach your goals and ensures that you are eating correctly while training.

    I tailor-make all my sessions to ensure that all ailments and dislikes are taken into consideration to make sure you get the most out of our sessions and achieve amazing results.

    Circuits

    A Circuit Class at Whepstead and Horringer done by Jen Grant

    This class is a high intensity workout for all ages and abilities. The class is based on a rotation of cardio, toning and strength exercises to ensure a full body workout. Even if you are a beginner, circuits may be the class for you. You can go as fast, hard and intense as you want. Moves are all adaptable and I always ensure that you have fun as well as setting yourself up for the week ahead.

    I run these classes on Wednesday Night at Whepstead Community Centre (IP29 4TA) and Friday night at Horringer Community Centre (IP29 5RU).
    These classes run every week from 7pm-8pm at a cost of £5 per session.

    Healthy Eating

    If you find eating better and more healthily hard and are running out of ideas in the kitchen, then I will help you with new recipes and ways to keep you on track. Meal plans are available to guarantee that the hard work you do in your sessions isn’t hindered.

    10 x 1 hour sessions = £250 (£25 per session)
    15 x 1 hour sessions = £330 (£22.00 per session)
    20 x 1 hour sessions = £400 (£20.00 per session)

"Jenny has been our trainer for almost 2 years. Going to the gym was not going to be an option but we needed to lose weight and get fit. We started having Jenny come to our home 3 times a week, she made the sessions both fun and varied, doing weight training, cardio and core stability exercises. When Jenny started up her circuit class we decided to join, Jenny still came to our home once a week and has written a program for us to follow when we want to train by ourselves. The circuit class is fun, well organised and over the last 18 months no circuit has been the same. You will be encouraged to push yourself but most exercises can be geared to your own level so you can join in whether you are a beginner or an experienced fitness fanatic. After 2 years my husband and I have lost weight, feel fitter and most importantly my husband has had the dosage of his blood pressure tablets halved. Jenny is knowledgable and a great motivator, we would recommend her whether you wanted to attend a class or have a personal trainer at your home.
